None of the addresses contained within these lists will have asked to receive your email, this means that when they receive your email marketing, they will (in high numbers) often unsubscribe. Long story short, they need more significant results-related proof, which includes split-tests/case studies, but also how “real” number of people saving time, being more productive…etc.
Here is where many websites make a mistake. The call to action often asks the prospect to take some action. However, visitors thought often asks, “Why should I subscribe?” or “What is there for me?” Rather than ask visitors to do something, offer them something. The call to action should be in the form of promise or value offer to the reader. Customize the submit button to attract the reader. For example, you can use “send me free tips” instead of submit, “Get instant access” instead of join or “give me access” instead of subscribe.
Match the corresponding ad text. Great landing pages use the same keywords from the PPC ad text – the connection should be obvious and the continuity reassures visitors that they’re on the right path. Don’t send someone to a page about camping tents if your ad was about sleeping bags. And don’t send them to a generic page and make them search for the product they were looking for.
An essential part of any Internet marketing campaign is the analysis of data gathered from not just the campaign as a whole, but each piece of it as well. An analyst can chart how many people have visited the product website since its launch, how people are interacting with the campaign's social networking pages, and whether sales have been affected by the campaign (See also Marketing Data Analyst). Rob, you don’t say who ‘booted’ you from using it. A significant GDPR factor is non-profits having to consent/re-consent those on established email lists and experiencing significant proportions of lists being lost because people miss the notifications or are too busy to fill in yet more forms. However, I have found a few using a ‘one-touch’ re-subscription button that takes immediate effect, without the recipient having to do anything else. It would appear that the re-subscription rate is higher, the easier it is to activate. On enquiry, I was told that they were using mail chimp for this.
I downloaded the plug-in today. After spending several agonizing hours trying to create a custom landing page, I'm about to give up. The editing is a bit quirky, but so are a lot of drag and drop builders. Some goofy behaviors would go away after pressing "save draft" and returning to edit. I can live with that. The problem came when I needed to add an HTML widget. It simply doesn't work. I was going to create a simple unordered list to test, but there is no way to add the markup. Thinking I must be doing something wrong, I went to the "contact us" web page on the vendor site, but even that doesn't work. On submit, "Some Error Occured while sending the request!" Great. Two stars.
