Landing pages can show users the value of your product or service the first time they engage with your brand. They are also a way to directly market to users and to capture leads. In order to have a successful landing page you will need to write copy that converts and set one goal (and only one goal) that you want to accomplish. Creating your own conversion focused landing page can be difficult to get right if you lack experience. If you are unsure, don’t chance it.

If you're not using internet marketing to market your business you should be. An online presence is crucial to helping potential clients and customer find your business - even if your business is small and local. (In 2017, one third of all mobile searches were local and local search was growing 50% faster than mobile searches overall.) Online is where the eyeballs are so that's where your business needs to be. 
Now, if your One Reader would define perfect parking as parking near my work that doesn’t cost half my paycheck or safe parking for my daughter who’s away at college—that is, if they’re planning for future parking needs—the headline and experience would change accordingly, of course. You don’t have to get that specific. But if you can get that specific in your headline, you’re more likely to convert your visitor. The alternative is writing a headline that serves a huge range of audiences. But, be forewarned: a hero to all is a boring character—and more likely to be ineffectual for the business.

Promote up-sells/cross-sells. You can even set up an autoresponder sequence for someone after they purchase and get repeat customers. Depending on the products you sell, you could offer an upsell, or cross-sell related products. For example, if someone buys a digital camera, you can offer to add a lens, a tripod, and other accessories to their order before it ships. Or, if you sell products that people buy frequently (like food or disposable items, like diapers), you can automatically send them offers for new items when you know they’re about due for another order.

When people talk about email marketing, lots of them forget to mention transactional emails. These are the automated emails you get in your inbox after taking a certain action on a website. Only ask for the information they need. The more fields you ask visitors to fill out in your form, the less chance you have of them completing your offer. If your conversion requires a form, get the bare minimum of what you need – you can always ask for more info on the thank you page once the deed is done. While most users don’t have a problem providing their name and email address, asking for info about phone numbers and date of birth can cause your drop off rate to skyrocket to 50%. The rule of thumb is not to include more than seven fields in your lead gen form on your landing page.
First of all, BuzzFeed has awesome subject lines and preview text. They are always short and punchy -- which fits in perfectly with the rest of BuzzFeed's content. I especially love how the preview text will accompany the subject line. For example, if the subject line is a question, the preview text is the answer. Or if the subject line is a command (like the one below), the preview text seems like the next logical thought right after it:

For example, if you set up an autoresponder with an interval of 24, and you receive an email from john@example.com at 8 am on Monday, the autoresponder will respond to his message immediately. If, however, john@example.com continues to email you throughout the day, the autoresponder will not send him another response for 24 hours after his initial email (in this case, 8 am Tuesday). If he emails you again after the 24-hour interval expires, he will receive an auto response.
With the advent of GDPR, this one is quite a big deal. If you are a U.K based company, emailing to U.K based email subscribers, then GDPR says that you must keep you contacts data in the U.K. If you are intending to use an overseas supplier, such as in the U.S for example, then GDPR requires that you obtain permission form everybody to export their private data outside of the protection of GDPR (outside of the E.U)
Why not resurrect old posts? You can bet your readers, especially new subscribers, haven’t read everything you’ve published. Consider scouring your blog for posts that remain valuable. You might batch together several that cover a single category to make it easy to create a topical and thematic series. Or, you might have written a series of posts in the past that could be ideal for an autoresponder series.
For some business owners, they’ll think of a website. Others may think of social media, or blogging. In reality, all of these avenues of advertising fall in the category internet marketing and each is like a puzzle piece in a much bigger marketing picture. Unfortunately, for new business owners trying to establish their web presence, there’s a lot of puzzle pieces to manage.
Yes, screens are getting smaller. And yes, an ever-expanding percentage of email is being consumed on mobile devices. Understood. Don’t forget your logo! Brand recognition should be a number one priority for any company. Even though the goal of a landing page is to obtain conversions you should always be focused on brand recognition, awareness, and consistency. Imagine someone has seen your logo before but you don’t include it on your landing page. That person clicks through to your landing page but doesn’t recognize your company name so they’re unsure if they want to convert. If your logo had been on your landing page, they might have recognized your brand and decided to convert.
It’s worth double checking that your email marketing software company has a good list cleaning engine that will delete any bad data from your database. The principal rule of opting page design: Avoid distracting your prospects with banners and advertisements. Many internet users despise pop-ups that appear once the page loads immediately and block them from seeing website content. Website visitors will exit a webpage when they cannot easily close an obstructing optin page. Keep your page clear from anything that the ready may dislike. Importantly, you opting page should have a big visible button to turn off the popup. You can also design a splash page, one with a prominent statement like, “No thanks, continue to the main site.” You do not want your visitors to leave before they see what your site has to offer.

Just like any website or page you create on the web, it is crucial that you have an updated page that fits in with current design trends. What is a landing page again? Defang objections with an “even if” clause. If you can anticipate what might keep someone from believing your claim or assertion, undercut that opposition by acknowledging it. It’ll hint that you understand their fear, uncertainty, and doubt—and suggest that your solution takes those considerations into account. The formula is simple: “[Claim] even if [objection].” A very simple example is: “Be creative even if you’re not creative.” Here’s an “even if” clause in the wild:

As of mid-2016 email deliverability is still an issue for legitimate marketers. According to the report, legitimate email servers averaged a delivery rate of 73% in the U.S.; six percent were filtered as spam, and 22% were missing.
