In April 2018 the Leeds Paediatric Neuro-disability team (Dr Arnab Seal, Jo Sandiford, speech therapist and Helen Dowden ,physiotherapist) returned to continue to teach, this time in Antsirabe, a lovely town. Evaluations showed that they had contributed to the knowledge and confidence of both the established and the new Malagasy participants. They also supported the developing parent groups. They were joined by two medical students from Leeds each doing a small piece of qualitative research under Anne’s supervision, facilitated by Dr Renaud and Dr Irene of the National Centre for Prosthetics and Orthotics (CAM).
